At MX Underwriting Europe, our team of experienced underwriters are dedicated to delivering your clients the insurance they need for their motor fleets. We pride ourselves on our commitment to getting it right for the customer.
What we do
We have a wide appetite, and particularly like car and van fleets but will consider larger commercial vehicles including use for hire and reward. Preferred trades include contractors, engineering, manufacturing, building industry and finance industry. We are open to the right waste and hazardous goods enquiries.
Our criteria
Unique features:
- Fleets of 3+ cars and/or vans and larger HGVs
- Comprehensive cover, reduced to third-party only for special types
- Special types; maximum 50% of total fleet
- Any modifications, high-powered or high-value vehicles to be advised within the submission as we may need to apply different T&Cs
- Open driving from age 21 with full EU/UK license for at least one year available – younger drivers can be accommodated on a case-by-case basis
- Need to have at least three years fleet or No Claims Discount (NCD) experience (we can help on cases transferring from sole trader to company or other circumstances where companies split, so please contact us to discuss)
- No international haulage, taxis, couriers, airside, fast food delivery or self-drive hire
What we need from you:
- Submission
- Vehicle list including gross vehicle weight of HGVs
- Minimum three years updated and verified claims experience
